The Unknown Healing Art, Can it Help You?

Jan 8th, 2010 by admin

What are the healing arts?  Well, there are many different healing arts such as the many medical specialties including gynecology, general surgery, pediatrics and a host of other fields dealing with medical science.  Then there are the disciplines of psychology, massage therapy, chiropractic medicine and acupuncture.

What about hypnotism, is it a healing art?  Is it real?  Does it work?

Many questions; let me answer them without wasting too much of your time. Yes, yes, and yes!

Hypnotism is real and certainly helps people.  Hypnotherapists work hand in hand with some medical doctors and is utilized by some psychiatrists to help their patients.

There is a very real difference between a hypnotist and a hypnotherapist.

Stage hypnotists gear themselves to more suggestible, willing individuals at a party or club to put on a fun but real show—you know like “you’re a chicken now and when I snap my finger you will walk and cluck like a chicken.”  Again, this phenomenon is real, however, very different from what a hypnotherapist does.

A hypnotherapist works with clients to help with smoking cessation, weight loss, pain management, anxiety, phobias along with assisting with athletic performance issues.  Many people have quit smoking, have lost weight and have had major successes with chronic pain issues under the direction and guidance of a hypnotherapist.  Additionally, in regards to pain, hypnosis has been found beneficial in minimizing pain in individuals or even stopping it when nothing else seemed to work.

Some athletes, including world-class athletes, utilize hypnotherapists to help them focus and function at a higher level than they seem to be able to achieve on their own.  Hypnotherapists work on tapping into a person’s unconscious mind to help them with whatever issues they want to change or modify.  The client or subject is never out of control and will never do something they do not want to do.

Hypnosis is authentic and if you are considering utilizing it, I suggest you look closely into the training an individual went through to be a hypnotherapist.  Was their training a weekend, a week or a year?  There is at least one school in The United States that has one year of training before certifying a hypnotherapist.

Hypnosis is real and is accepted by most individuals as a tool in various therapies.  If you have considered using it to help you in some way, contact an educated professional in the field or talk to your doctor and see if it may be right for you.

Why I Love Hypnosis

Jan 6th, 2010 by admin

Hypnosis is the most fantastic facilitator to the human mind and hence to human potential. The key to success is in your own mind and hypnosis is the state which will unlock it. This is why I love hypnosis.

To not use hypnosis is like having a beautiful airplane, complete with pilot and staff at your disposal, unlimited money for fuel, permission to land anywhere in the world, but to not have the ability to pass on your instructions to these people. I was going to use the analogy of having a train with no engine, but this would be wrong. The engine is there, in full working order; it’s just a lack of communication, or confused communication which prevents the train from steaming off along the tracks or the plane charging down the runway and soaring into the air.

How you think is critical to success or failure in life. How you think is critical to how happy you are. How you think is even reflected in your physical health and well being. Your reality is only real because you perceive it as such. It is your own perceptions, and your own interpretation of these perceptions, which create your reality.

You and I, at this moment in time, are living different realities. Even if we were in the same room, watching the exact same television program, sitting on the same sofa, we would be experiencing different realities. You could be having a great time, feeling comfortable on the sofa, laughing at what is playing on the television. I, on the other hand, might be experiencing discomfort; I might be finding the sofa to be lumpy, my back sore, my teeth hurting and the program anything but hilarious! I could even not be paying attention to what is going on now and instead be “lost in thought”, perhaps day-dreaming. I could be mulling over something which happened 20 years ago or projecting into the future and imagining something.

But whether your thoughts are focused in the present, the past or the future, each thought creates a feeling, a sensation, a good or a bad feeling, and these feelings are real. Your thoughts create your reality. We all know this to be true, so why do so few of us take the time to choose our thoughts more carefully? I fear that the answer to this is that most people do not know HOW to change their thoughts. And so I am on a mission to enlighten people to the empowering and facilitating effect of hypnosis.

Hypnosis is a normal and natural state of mind. It is the state between wake and sleep. As you drift off to sleep your brain waves change from the beta waves of normal waking consciousness to the alpha-theta waves of relaxation and sleep. The same shift in brain wave activity is seen in hypnosis. When you dream each night, in the REM state, your brain carries out the task of conflict resolution. This happens each and every night and is vital to our health and well being. Hypnosis facilitates conflict resolution – conflict between what you think you should do and what you want to do, or between what you want to do but do not believe you could do, and so on.

Hypnosis allows access to your subconscious mind, to your underlying beliefs and expectations. Thus the state of hypnosis facilitates change within your inner mind. With hypnosis you can change limiting beliefs, and you can also install new and empowering beliefs. You can get the right and left sides of your brain communicating smoothly, you can get your will power and your imagination aligned. With hypnosis you can set your mind to achieve anything you want. You can unlock your talent and creativity and allow yourself to be open to inspiration, happiness and success.

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are regularly associated with hypnosis weight loss, stop smoking hypnosis or stop nail biting. But these are just three applications of the empowering ability of hypnosis. You will see from the myriad titles of hypnosis downloads on my website the wide-spread application of hypnosis in your life. What I really love about hypnosis is its unlimited potential; it’s power to change the world, to change YOUR world, YOUR reality, YOUR health and well-being. It really is amazing what listening to hypnosis downloads can lead to. Why not get your plane off the ground with the help of hypnosis downloads?

Self Hypnosis Techniques for Success

Jan 5th, 2010 by admin

Your reality is largely shaped by the beliefs that you hold. Beliefs can be compared to software that programs how you experience and relate to the environment around you. Who you are and how you relate to the world is controlled by your beliefs. In order to change yourself and your life, the place to start is with your beliefs. The major difficulty in dealing with beliefs is that most of those that affect you are harbored in your subconscious. Many of these subconsciously held beliefs sabotage your conscious efforts to improve your life and remain beyond your conscious control and awareness, impeding you from realizing your full potential. The subconscious is responsible for approximately 90% of a persons mental and physical functions so it makes sense to use the subconscious to create success in all areas of life. Self-hypnosis is a tool available to everyone and you can use it to penetrate the resistance to your conscious efforts and tap into the source of your own personal power. Anyone can generate the thoughts that have the power to change their lives: mentally, emotionally and physically. Know what your objectives are before beginning any session of self-hypnosis. Your objective can be anything; losing weight, improving your health, having a better relationship or making more money. Many people who use self-hypnosis claim that even when they had concentrated their efforts on only one or two objectives that other aspects of their lives improved beyond that which they had focused their intentions. Before starting a session, take note of your state of mind as well as your physical and emotional states. Determine how long your session will last. A session of self-hypnosis consists of four stages. 1. Induction 2. Deepening 3. Trance 4. Awakening Induction Induction is the intentional shifting of awareness from your normal state. Begin to relax by using deep breathing. Taking deep breaths in a rhythmic pattern will begin to relax the mind and body. Another method that can be used in the induction phase is to focus your sight on a single spot, letting your vision naturally blur and allowing the eyelids to close on their own. Deepening Deepening is similar to induction but extends to a deeper level of relaxation. Count down from a number of your choice until zero. Synchronize the count with your deep breathing and gradually put yourself into a deeper state of relaxation as each number is counted. There is no need to pick too high of a number: between 3 and 10 is optimal. If you prefer not to countdown, try visualizing some peaceful, beautiful location. This place could be imaginary or somewhere you have actually visited. Trance Trance is also known as the Auto-Suggestion phase as this is where you will be repeating to yourself a script which describes the positives changes you wish to take hold in your subconscious. This script will be something that you have written in advance. It can be as short as a few words or as long as a few paragraphs. Most importantly, the script should be written in terms of implementing positive chance and avoiding terms describing making changes to negative behaviors or circumstances. For instance, if you are trying to lose weight, repeat something such as, “I eat healthy everyday and feel fulfilled” but do not repeat something like, “I will stop eating so much chocolate”. Once you have become more comfortable and familiar with entering into the trance phase you may decide to try making a longer, more comprehensive script to read or you can record your script to play back during this time. To enhance the effectiveness of the trance phase create the emotion within yourself of how you will feel once you have realized your objective. For someone beginning self-hypnosis, the most asked question is “How do I know when I am in trance?” The reality is that it is different for every individual. Trance is a natural state that exists in everyone. Have you ever been driving and suddenly realized you have gone miles without being aware? Have you ever been so involved in some activity that you lost perception of time? These are examples of natural trance. With time and experience you will recognize your own personal signals to indicate when you are in trance. Signals can be physical, emotional or mental. Below is a small list of examples of possible signals to give you an idea of what to expect. Emotional * Tranquility * Euphoria * Neutrality * Forgiveness * Unconditional Love * Detachment Mental * Altered time perception * Clarity * Wisdom Physical * Tingling * Warmth * Light headed * Floating or levitating Awakening The final phase of your self-hypnosis session is Awakening which simply means returning to your normal state of consciousness. Obviously, it is best to comeback gradually and not with a jolt. This can be accomplished by using the same countdown method as used in the deepening phase except with each step increasing to your normal conscious state. The effectiveness of self-hypnosis is in balancing the intentions of the conscious with the subconscious. The conscious mind is rational and envisions the changes that you want. The subconscious is creative, intuitive and powerful. It creates a reality based on beliefs of which you are too often unaware. By using self-hypnosis, you can program your subconscious mind to work for you to create the life you desire. Results will not appear immediately but with practice and patience the results will be dramatic and well worth the effort.

Hypnosis And The Devil

Jan 4th, 2010 by admin

Many people believe that a hypnotist has supernatural powers and can control you. This is absolutely false. If you ever saw my hypnosis stage shows (which I no longer perform) it appears as if I am controlling them but as my shows proved hypnotized people will never do anything against their will. The CIA also conducted secret experiments in the 1950s using hypnosis and drugs to try and create the ultimate war soldier and they learned that they couldn’t force people to act against their deepest will. Hypnosis (similar to meditation) is an altered state of consciousness whereby you are open to suggestion and able to access the subconscious mind and vividly recall and feel past events. It is similar to daydreaming and guided or creative visualization. Neurologically, hypnosis is a state where your brain waves slow down and the slower your brain waves are, the more relaxed you become and the faster you learn and absorb information. Hypnosis is not sleep. An example of hypnosis or trance is driving a car and reaching your destination without remembering most of the journey, having lost track of time. Another example is watching a movie and feeling it as real, experiencing all of the emotions – fear, laughter, suspense, excitement, anger, tension – even though we know it is just a movie. I remember one friend who went into trance after seeing the movie Rocky for the first time. He was so moved and energized by the movie, he ran all the way home – seven miles – without even saying goodbye! Here is a secret: all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. In other words, the hypnotist gives you the suggestions to relax, breathe deeply, etc and you decide to follow or not. You have complete control at all times as evidenced by Steve on the Montel shown at our website. And if you are worried about being brainwashed, then take note of everything you watch, listen or read. They are all affecting your mind. Take charge of your mind and what you feed it. As Montel pointed out on his TV show this past Monday, hypnotherapy and my techniques are vastly different from traditional hypnosis for stop smoking or other symptom removal. What I do is not simply suggestion, commands nor NLP. I go deeper under hypnosis to uncover the root cause of the issue, indentifying the triggering event during childhood, release the emotions, identify what beliefs were taken on at the time, gain new understanding about the event – why it happened, understand that the event is now over, done with and in the past (the subconscious mind loops the event) forgive the people associated with the triggering event, express compassion for self and those people, and take on new beliefs about self, the world and life. Also, command or suggestion hypnosis will not clear the cause of the issue or block – it only works to try and remove the symptom. I do not do symptom removal. I always seek out the cause so that the client can get the real healing. No one has done this process of hypnotherapy on national TV prior to this week. Notice that I stress the importance of forgiveness and compassion. This is my primary intention and it is the same thing that Jesus, Mother Theresa and all the great teachers emphasized: love and forgiveness. I believe the key to being set free of most of our issues is forgiveness, which comes from insights and new understanding about past events, and the people who did or didn’t do things to and for us. Note Jesus’ last words, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” Permanent change occurs when there is new understanding and this is the greatest difference between hypnosis (suggestions and commands) and hypnotherapy.

I am a Celebrity Life Coach, Human Behavior & Relationship Expert. I provide Quit Smoking Hypnosis programs and many other Hypnosis programs like <a href="http://Weight”>http://patrickwanis.com/weightlosshypnosis.asp”>Weight loss hypnosis.

Yo! Yo-Yo Dieters Take a Chill Pill!

Jan 3rd, 2010 by admin

If you’d like to take a pill to lose weight – a weight loss pill – seems like there may just be one available that works, after all. And while it’s been the dream of many an overweight person for as long as there have been people, it seems it just may be true after all.
Yes, there actually seems to be a pill that really does help you lose weight. Weight loss, pill. Simple equation.
But what are the real facts about taking a pill and expecting weight loss?
Well, a research study has been done that suggests you can lose about a pound a week if you take this particular weight loss pill. That doesn’t sound spectacular and most dieters are looking for a faster quick fix. But consider this. If you could sustain that weight loss over a full year you’d have lost 52 pounds in weight. That’s a UK 3 stone 10 pounds. That’s a big weight loss by anybody’s standards.
It’s not really a miracle cure, but the research does show it as working. You can buy it without prescription over the counter at places like supermarkets and health food stores. It actually encourages you to eat less by making you feel fuller and slowing down how fast the food stays in your stomach.
Now, if eating less food sounds like your personal idea of hell, you should also know that this herbal pill seems to change how you think about eating – so it won’t be such a big deal to you to eat less. And changing how you think about food is really one of the keys to being successful in weight loss and keeping the weight off.
What’s also very interesting is that in the test done in a research study, the people who lost weight didn’t actually change their diet or exercise routines. And they still lost weight. That bears thinking about for a moment.
They didn’t suddenly start going to the gym for 3 hours a day and they didn’t starve themselves. Doesn’t that sound better than living on rabbit food? And if you want an occasional fast food meal there’s really nothing to stop you. Just keep it in sensible moderation.
With Britain high in the charts for obesity it’s a big problem and it’s getting worse every year. Nearly a quarter of British women are clinically obese, a slightly higher percentage than for British men. That makes us officially the fattest nation in the European Union. Hardly something to celebrate.
Most experts agree that the rising tide of obesity is likely to cause future health problems, such as heart disease and diabetes and even cancers. It’s something that can only really be improved one person at a time. Using a herbal weight loss pill might just do that.
And that makes changing the way you think about food an important step in staying healthy into the forseeable future. The research says that the particular herbal pill tested seems to help with changing your mindset. As any long-term successful weight loss story will record, you have to have the right mindset first in order to succeed with permanent weight loss.
Ask anyone who’s very overweight and they will probably tell you that a lot of the time when they’re eating, it’s not actually because they’re hungry. Sometimes it’s out of boredom and sometimes it’s loneliness, but quite often it really isn’t about hunger.
So for effective weight loss it’s a good idea to change the way you think about food.
The pill seems to trigger a pyschological shift in your reaction to food, by causing the stomach to empty more slowly, making you feel fuller for longer. if you don’t like the idea of using weight loss pills to achieve the result, good old fashioned fibre may have a similar effect.
And for making a change in mindset there are various tools and systems available which can support you in your quest to lose weight and keep it off.
One very effective method of changing your relationship with food and eating is through hypnotherapy. The downside is the ongoing cost and the fact you usually have to travel to they hypnotherapist’s office.
For people who don’t want to do that there are self-help programs available that can help change how you think and react to food.
If you really want success in your weight loss it’s probably worth using a couple of different tools to make sure you get the success you want. Good nutrition, sensible activity, fresh air and fresh food are all basics in the quest for weight loss. Good tools are the icing on the cake.
Just don’t have too much cake!

Five Ways Anybody Can Benefit From Hypnosis

Jan 2nd, 2010 by admin

To many people hypnosis seems exotic, mysterious, maybe even a bit mystical. Therefore it is difficult for many to connect with hypnosis, and to understand how they can personally benefit from hypnosis. Hypnosis is not mystical, and it is only mysterious when you don’t know how it works–much like any other skilled profession.

Hypnosis is no more exotic or mysterious than dentistry. The only difference is we see a dentist on a regular basis throughout our entire life, but are much less likely to experience professional hypnosis, or hypnotherapy. Hypnosis is a natural state that everyone experiences on a daily basis. At a minimum, you are in hypnosis twice a day. You pass through a hypnotic state as you fall asleep, and as you wake up. You may also experience hypnosis “zoning” in front of the TV, or you may experience “highway hypnosis,” when you reach your destination but don’t remember the details of the drive.

Sure, stage hypnosis is funny and the comedic hypnotists work hard to keep hypnosis mysterious–it’s part of the show. But if this is the only exposure you’ve had to hypnotism, you’ve only scratched the surface. Hypnotism has many more practical uses that can benefit your everyday life.

Here are five common, everyday issues that hypnosis can help you with.

There are many more applications for hypnosis that can benefit you in your everyday life. Many have used hypnosis successfully for weight loss, to improve their memory, to relieve stage fright or performance anxiety, and much, much more. How could hypnosis benefit your life?

Cindy Locher, C.Ht., is a Clinical Hypnotherapist living and working in Minnesota. Cindy’s passions are helping others find health through natural, holistic means. She specializes in hypnotherapy for such issues as insomnia, weight loss, smoking cessation, tinnitus, stage fright, and release of fears and phobias.

Why Does The Fat Keep Coming Back?!

Jan 1st, 2010 by admin

Nearly every popular diet plan ends up backfiring. They seem good at first, but they adversely stimulate the body’s survival mechanisms. This causes the body to store extra fat, lower its metabolic rate, conserve energy and increase food cravings. Desperate people hope in vain that the results will be different this time. And the next. This is the dreaded ‘yo-yo’ dieting syndrome.

Don’t think it is only you. This happens to almost everyone who loses weight. 98 percent, to be precise. And to make matters worse, the failures lead to a lack of confidence, sadness and misery.

You might think you don’t have the willpower to be successful. It might always seem like the wrong time. Past failures may have drained your enthusiasm and left you with no motivation.

It gets worse. Frustrating to many people trying to lose weight is that even when they do eat properly and exercise regularly they still don’t see results. Or they put the weight they lost back on, with interest. Why?

Contrary to what many diet centers would have you believe, weight loss is not a simple matter of balancing calories in and calories out, or even of nutrition and exercise. There are other factors that make the process much more complicated.

We tend to think of the weight loss process as a matter of physical change. However, this is only partly true. The physical changes are governed by the brain, through a complicated system of electrical impulses, hormones and neuro-transmitters. If the brain sends the wrong signals to the body the weight loss process can become completely ineffective, despite your physical efforts.

What are the wrong signals? They are natural survival instincts, and they can wreak havoc with weight management. When they are activated, the brain coaxes the body to conserve energy. Metabolism lowers. ‘Stress hormones’ cause an excess of blood sugar to be converted into fat, and also inhibit the breakdown of body fat to energy.

In these circumstances the body naturally seeks the most convenient and simple sources of energy – sugars and simple carbohydrates. This explains those cravings for sweets and simple carbs? Fat is last on the list to be burned, because the process is less efficient and takes longer. That is not good for survival, and survival is the priority in these circumstances.

So how are these survival instincts activated? They can be activated by ANY danger or stress – real or imagined. This even includes obsessive thoughts about dieting which alert the brain to a false starvation scenario.

As far as our brains and bodies are concerned: stress is stress. ALL stress puts us in an ‘emergency’ state. It doesn’t matter if the stress is life-threatening or simply everyday hassles of life. When we get overwhelmed, traffic jams, parenting, school, bills, work or practically anything can trigger the same negative effect.

There is no doubt about it: Worry, anger, stress and all negative emotions are fattening!

Since the body is controlled by the brain, and the brain is so easily influenced by the mind, your thoughts can make or break you, regardless of how much physical effort you expend.

Basically, before changing your body you must change your mind – specifically, the subconscious mind. Many of my clients see a shift in their weight loss and metabolism only AFTER they learn to control stress, worry and negativity.

How do you accomplish this? The only way I know to quickly and effectively change the subconscious mind is to use hypnosis. It is easy, safe and can work with anyone.

Why does hypnosis work so well? It is quite simple really. Hypnosis allows you to ‘re-program’ your subconscious mind. If you don’t change the subconscious you could be setting yourself up for another failure. The subconscious is simply defending what it is accustomed too. It just doesn’t understand your conscious goals. We have all experienced this!

Using hypnosis, removing stress and other blocks to weight loss opens the doors to success that may have been slammed shut in the past. For so many who have lost all hope, this really provides a refreshing and realistic opportunity.

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are sweeping the nation. Its effectiveness has been well documented in countless studies and trials. Hypnosis has become so popular that millions have benefited from its use. It is used daily in medicine and dentistry, psychology, law, education, sports improvement and general self-improvement.

Everyone can be hypnotized. When in hypnosis you are completely aware and in control, so it is completely safe. It is also fun!

So instead of just imagining, you can actually experience having tremendous willpower and self-control. You can enjoy healthy exercise. You can naturally maintaining your ideal size. And all the while feeling relaxed, confident and positive. What could be better?

Remember the rule that you must change the mind before changing your body. Then you can finally experience lasting success.

Hope Develops into Belief with hypnosis CDs

Dec 31st, 2009 by admin

When you are discouraged, it is almost impossible to do anything. Life seems dark and the thought of losing weight seems impossible. What can be done to brighten this picture? Hypnosis has helped many people to plant seeds of hope which develop into robust beliefs which enhance success.

In the dark valley of despair, depression and hopelessness take hold. Food cravings become too intense to resist. Thoughts of finding some pleasure somewhere occupy the mind. The motivation to exercise and to follow the diet is nonexistent. The main task of life is just to stay afloat.

There are many sources which attach pleasure to eating. The fast food industry offers high calorie meals cheaply. When cooking is too much effort, it is easy to see why many people give into the advertising blitz to gain pleasure with a fast food fix. Comfort foods seem to elevate your mood even if it is only for a little while. The temporary guilt is a part of life in the cycle of despair.

When people begin to feel hope growing in their mind, they begin to cook for themselves. They resist the food cravings and opt for healthier options. They exercise more and slowly, the hope grows into belief. The belief grows stronger in intensity when it is nurtured. When this happens, weight loss becomes your new reality.

Happiness and hope cause endorphins to flow through your body. Your metabolism speeds up and you seem to be having help from your once resistant body. Your mind also comes to your assistance and makes weight loss effort seem easier. You see the evidence of your effort when you look at the scale and hear complements from family and friends. It is truly a good feeling.

In hypnosis, you relax and your subconscious mind receives the positive suggestions. These positive suggestions become your new reality because the conscious mind which is limited is temporarily inactive. You see success in the visualizations. This success image translates into hope which develops into your new belief. Then, your body and mind work with you to help you to achieve your weight loss goal.

One of my clients needed to lose weight due to severe knee and back pain. She tried many approaches. Her family and friends viewed her as a weight loss failure. She was truly in the valley of despair. She had no hope and felt frightened. She was even too afraid to think of bypass surgery. With hypnosis, she began to lose weight, to baby sit her granddaughter, and to arrange for the bypass surgery to lose the weight faster in order to help her daughter who was seriously ill. She felt that hypnosis gave her the hope which developed into belief and confidence.

Another client had severe diabetes, mental illness, epilepsy, and asthma. She worked for a long time to develop belief. She lost weight, got her sugar levels under control, and prepared for the lap band surgery to make it easier for her. She felt less afraid when contemplating surgery and losing weight.

Many of my clients lose the weight without surgery. They persist and lose the weight. One of my clients lost one hundred pounds with hypnosis alone. She developed the belief that she could persist and lose the weight. She reported increased self esteem and was able to plan for a happy retirement.

If you are feeling hopeless about the possibility of losing weight, then hypnosis can help. As your hope develops into belief, many of the goals that you have put on the back burner begin to come front and center. You feel good because you can realize your dreams. Take the next step and locate a hypnotherapist or a hypnotherapy recording to help you to lose weight. With hypnosis cds or visits, your dreams can be your new reality.

I have been a therapist for many years in the Boston area.. My discipline is social work and I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in Massachusetts. I practice in a clinic in Malden Massachusetts where I use both rational emotive therapy and hypnosis to help people achieve their goals. My private practice is also very rewarding in which I do home-based hypnosis.

Hypnosis – a welcome alternative to crash dieting

Dec 29th, 2009 by admin

For many the struggle to lose weight is an endless cycle of self sacrifice, low self esteem and resigned acceptance. It is a difficult and daunting task to lose weight, much of the hard work can be rapidly undone when a crash diet ends and normality returns.

There are often psychological reasons for overeating such as stress, boredom or sadness. Unless these reasons and patterns of behaviour are changed it is likely that the ‘old ways’ will return.

There are alternatives however: Hypnosis combined with Neuro Linguistic Programming and Time Line Therapy has proven very successful.

Master Hypnotist Luca Senatore has helped many people lose up to 6 pounds a week. Luca works with the unconscious mind to identify and clear the reasons for unhealthy eating. He then works to establish alternative behaviours creating a healthy attitude towards food and general lifestyle.

Luca is currently involved with a documentary recording how a local woman lost a total of 5 stones following a hypnotherapy program. Details of this exciting project will be released in October 2009.

Many of Luca’s clients report big improvements in other areas of their life. Julie attended a 2 session program and says: ‘Food does not seem my priority anymore. I eat when I am hungry and find that my portions are smaller. I have now lost a total of 8 lbs!’

Kim has reported: ‘my carbohydrate portions are about half what they used to be and it’s not something I have to enforce, that’s just the way it is. I feel more energetic and my thoughts are naturally turning to exercise in my free time. I am not craving junk food anymore.’

Luca simply claims: ‘diets don’t work, reprogramming your mind to feel less hungry and like certain foods less does.’

Luca Senatore runs East Anglia Hypnotherapy based in Cambridge and is a fully qualified Master Hypnotist, NLP  and Time Line Therapy Practitioner and Life Coach registered with the British Institute of Hypnotherapy. www.eastangliahypnotherapy.com. 01223 303 904 or bookings@eastangliahypnotherapy.com
